Dr. Diane Reibel has over 20 years of experience as cofounder and program director of the Mindfulness Center at the Marcus Institute. After a mindfulness program relieved her of chronic pain, Dr. Reibel decided to become an instructor of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) under the direction of MBSR’s founder, Jon Kabat-Zinn, PhD. Due to high demand, we are excited to offer six MBSR foundation courses with locations in Warminster, Villanova, Elkins Park and Villanova. Mindfulness meditation quiets the mind and enables those who use it to experience greater vitality. Throughout the 8-week program, participants will learn a variety of mindfulness practices such as stress management strategies, and sitting meditation. Participants of all experience levels seeking greater well-being and enhanced health of mind and body are encouraged to register.

This 6-session course will help participants develop a nourishing relationship with food and eating. Rather than eating when bored or stressed, learn to form healthy eating habits and the mindfulness skills needed to help you achieve awareness and control over eating. Mindfulness training will allow you to become more intentional about food choices and find pleasure in eating. The course starts September 28, 2017, and runs through November 9, 2017.
