Daniel Monti, MD, MBA
Daniel A. Monti, M.D., MBA is CEO of the Marcus Institute of Integrative Health and Chairman of the Department of Integrative Medicine and Nutritional Sciences at Sidney Kimmel Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University.
Dr. Monti has expertise in several areas of integrative medicine, including the role of natural molecules and lifestyle on health outcomes, cancer survivorship, and the development of novel clinical and research models. He has dozens of scholarly publications and has been a peer reviewer for numerous medical journals and study sections at the National Institutes of Health and Department of Defense. Dr. Monti is the recipient of several federally-funded and private research grants.
Dr. Monti obtained his MD from the State University of New York School of Medicine at Buffalo. He completed psychiatry residency training and a Research Scholars Program at Jefferson Medical College. Dr. Monti also obtained a Masters of Business Administration from Temple University Fox School of Business. Dr. Monti is co-author of the popular press book, “The Great Life Makeover” (Harper-Collins, 2009), and co-editor of Integrative Psychiatry (Oxford University Press, 2010).
