In a roundup of 6 area programs that focus on women’s health, Philadelphia Style featured the Marcus Institute’s individualized treatment plans that manage the side effects of menopause. As listed by Philadelphia Style, these side effects can include decreases in estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone levels, causing a variety of symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats, insomnia, diminished bone mineral density, mood swings, and decreased libido.
The Marcus Institute’s integrative approach proves to be particularly successful at soothing many of these discomforts. Individually designed treatment plans combine advanced medical care with complementary therapies in order to best support each woman’s journey through this biological milestone.
“We are careful to make it clear that they have choices in their health: We are the tech support, they are the pilots, and the flying can be wonderful,” states our Associate Director, Dr. Bazzan.
