Daniel Monti, MD, MBA

Dr. Daniel A. Monti is CEO of the Marcus Institute of Integrative Health and Chair of the Department of Integrative Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Monti obtained his MD from the State University of New York School of Medicine at Buffalo. He completed psychiatry residency training and a Research Scholars Program at Jefferson Medical College. Dr. Monti also obtained a Masters of Business Administration from Temple University Fox School of Business. Dr. Monti is co-author of the popular press book, “The Great Life Makeover” (Harper-Collins, 2009), and co-editor of Integrative Psychiatry (Oxford University Press, 2010).

Andrew Newberg, MD

Andrew Newberg, MD

Dr. Andrew Newberg is the Research Director at the Marcus Institute of Integrative Health and Professor in the Department of Integrative Medicine and Nutritional Sciences at Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Newberg is board certified in both internal medicine and nuclear medicine. He has specialized expertise in functional imaging of the brain and body and he has created one of the most unique and diverse research programs in the world. He has published over 200 scholarly articles and several best-selling books, and he has been featured in media throughout the world.

Sara Gottfried, MD

Sara Gottfried, MD

Dr. Gottfried is Director of the Precision Medicine Program at the Marcus Institute of Integrative Health. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Integrative Medicine and Nutritional Sciences, Sidney Kimmel Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University. She graduated from Harvard Medical School and MIT, and completed residency at UCSF. She is the New York Times bestselling author of The Hormone Cure, The Hormone Reset Diet, and Younger.
