Comprehensive Laboratory Panel
• Laboratory testing and analysis including advanced lipid panel, comprehensive metabolic panel, Vitamin D, blood sugar, advanced hormone analysis, and other important values. (Blood draw completed prior to visit. 12-hour fast required)
• Gender-specific testing including prostate-specific antigen (PSA) and testosterone for men, and estrogen, follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and progesterone for women
Extensive Health Screening
• Medical history overview, including medications and immunization review
• Auditory screening for hearing loss
• Vision screening for potential vision loss, color blindness, and to determine visual acuity
Computerized Psychometric Screening
• Cognitive function screening including memory, recall, executive function, visual & motor reaction time, and processing time
• Provides insight into brain function that can be affected by lifestyle, sleep, neurological conditions, hormonal changes, and cardiovascular conditions
Brain-Body Stress Assessment
• Session with licensed clinical psychologist and biofeedback expert to assess physiological processes including the brain and body’s response to stress
• Mental and cognitive health related screenings
• Heart Rate Variability (HRV) is measured to learn of potential imbalances in the autonomic nervous system (the body’s primitive system responsible for regulating heart rate, blood pressure, breathing, digestion and other key body functions)
History, Physical, and Neurological Examination
• Full physician review of medical history, current conditions, health concerns, and medications
• A complete physical examination by one of Jefferson’s Executive Great Life board-certified physicians, including
Functional Neuro-performance Assessment
• A licensed and registered occupational therapist will complete a personalized and comprehensive neurological assessment of sensory and motor functions, including strength, balance, coordination, and sensory discrimination
• Oculomotor and vestibular screening and assessment
• Functional cognition testing including executive functioning abilities such as attention, working memory, planning, and organization
FDG-PET/MRI Brain Imaging (not included in any tier above)
• Magnetic Resonance imaging (MRI) provides exceptional images of the brain structures and Positron Emission Tomography (PET) visualizes functional physiology with use of a contrast dye
• The FDG-PET/MRI scanner is performed to assess and screen for conditions including cancer, infection, inflammation, and is the most advanced imaging technology available for a comprehensive look at the brain with NO radiation exposure
Visit Summary
• End of day meeting with one of Jefferson’s Executive Great Life board-certified physicians for a full review of the day’s findings and recommendations
• Introduction of a personalized “Functional Health & Wellness Plan” to address concerns and assist with implementing recommendations
• A comprehensive medical report will be mailed within one week of the examination
