Comprehensive Laboratory Panel
• Laboratory testing and analysis including advanced lipid panel, comprehensive metabolic panel, Vitamin D, blood sugar, advanced hormone analysis, and other important values. (Blood draw completed prior to visit. 12-hour fast required)
• Gender-specific testing including prostate-specific antigen (PSA) and testosterone for men, and estrogen, follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and progesterone for women
Extensive Health Screening
• Medical history overview, including medications and immunization review
• Auditory screening for hearing loss
• Vision screening for potential vision loss, color blindness, and to determine visual acuity
Body Composition Analysis
• Important tool to better understand overall health, fitness, and to identify any potential risk factors for chronic illness
• Analysis includes body mass index (BMI), basal metabolic rate (BMR), fat mass, muscle mass, bone mass, visceral fat rating, total body water, extracellular and intracellular water, and body mass distribution
History & Physical Examination
• Full physician review of medical history, current conditions, health concerns, and medications
• A complete physical examination by one of Jefferson’s Executive Great Life board-certified physicians
Cardiac/Vascular Screening
• Carotid and abdominal aortic ultrasound to screen for blocked or narrowed arteries
• Resting and stress echocardiogram to assess heart anatomy and function
Exercise Stress Test with Metabolic Assessment
• Resting and stress electrocardiogram (EKG) to measure heartbeats at rest and during exercise to screen for irregular heartbeats (arrhythmia), heart damage, and inadequate blood supply to the heart
• Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) to determine the number of calories the body burns at rest
• VO2 Max treadmill test to determine peak oxygen consumption (the ability to move oxygen efficiently throughout the body during exercise)
Computerized Psychometric Screening
• Cognitive function screening including memory, recall, executive function, visual & motor reaction time, and processing time
• Provides insight into brain function that can be affected by lifestyle, sleep, neurological conditions, hormonal changes, and cardiovascular conditions
Brain-Body Stress Assessment (not included in either tier above)
• Session with licensed clinical psychologist and biofeedback expert to assess physiological processes including the brain and body’s response to stress
• Mental health related screenings
• Learn biofeedback techniques to monitor and control body functions such as blood pressure, breathing patterns, heart rate, and muscle tension to enhance the brain/body connection for improved stress management, pain management, and mental health
Executive Performance Optimization
• Personalized health & wellness coaching session with a licensed and registered occupational therapist
• Identify and understand barriers to achieving personal health and wellness goals
• Generate customized strategies to enhance brain and body performance in all areas of life
Visit Summary
• End of day meeting with one of Jefferson’s Executive Great Life board-certified physicians for a full review of the day’s findings and recommendations
• Advanced Functional Health & Wellness Planning
• A comprehensive medical report will be mailed within one week of the examination
• A telehealth follow up visit is included to assess progress (approximately 4 mos after program day)
